My review of Fetch Rewards
There are a lot of ways to earn rewards points and get gift cards online, but alot of them seem boring and time consuming to me. Things like taking surveys or doing data entry sound boring to me and quite frankly not worth it. I wanted to find something that seemed more practical. One I reviewed in the past was BeFrugal which I still use. But I also wanted to find others.
I stumbled across Fetch rewards a few years ago and found it be an easy way to earn rewards dollars back. How it works is you download the Fetch app on your phone and you snap pictures of your receipts. Only thing to note is your receipt must be within a certain amount of days. I can’t remember how many but thinking it is around 30.
Every receipt scanned gets you a minimum of 25 points, but some get you more. Fetch often works with various retails and showcases certain products and you can earn a lot more points.
Huggies is a good example. Being the father of two young boys, we have learned the what the expense of diapers is like. After discovering Fetch, I realized they had a partnership with Huggies, and so every time I scanned a receipt with a Huggies purchase, I got a lot more points. I think in a couple cases, I got around 500 points a scan.
Earning gift cards
Now you may be wondering, how much in gift cards can you really earn from this? Look, its not like you are raking in the money and you won’t earn them overnight by any means, but its something anyone can do every time they get home from shopping. We all buy things at the store, and if you’re smart you keep your receipts already anyway (because you use them for when you reconcile your budget, right???). I think in the past couple of years, I have gotten between $200-$300 in gift cards back just from scanning. Again, its not a huge amount, but think how much that would help come Christmas time when you have all those gifts to shop for.
I find the app easy to use, the selection of vendors to choose gift cards from to plentiful. I’ve redeemed gift cards for Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Texas Roadhouse, Chili’s, and so on.
I recommend you try it out today. You can signup for a new account here and use code AQ7BN when you sign up!
Happy scanning!
